About the position

The Landscape Architect Designer at Prism Design Studio, a part of Crafton Tull, focuses on creating detailed construction drawings and graphic deliverables for various community space projects. This role emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and a passion for making positive impacts in the community through landscape architecture.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed construction drawings including plans, cross sections, and construction details.
• Explore and research Landscape Architecture Case Studies to develop strong conceptual ideas.
• Assist in providing Landscape Technician and CAD drafting skills to all company offices.
• Draft project layouts in collaboration with Landscape Architects, Engineers, and Surveyors.
• Prepare Schematic Design drawings, renderings, construction drawings, and detailed documentation.
• Provide graphic plans and precedent imagery using Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator.
• Coordinate with the Landscape Architect for project programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD drafting and landscape design software.
• Strong graphic skills and understanding of landscape architecture principles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and surveyors.
• Experience in creating detailed construction drawings and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with community space planning and development.
• Knowledge of irrigation and hardscape planning.
• Familiarity with tree preservation planning.
