About the position

Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop, Inc. is seeking a Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect to join their design, sales, and construction team. This role involves working closely with clients and subcontractors to deliver comprehensive landscape design and installation services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality design solutions while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site measurements and prepare base maps.
• Prepare design plans and client presentations.
• Provide sales support and material selections.
• Observe and supervise construction activities.
• Develop creative landscape design solutions tailored to client needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the design or design/build industry.
• Knowledge of common Wisconsin landscape plants.
• Experience with vector-based design programs (AutoCAD, Dynascape, or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google SketchUp is a plus.
• Prior sales experience is a plus.
