About the position

The Landscape Architecture/Design Co-Op at Olsson is an internship opportunity designed for students pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture. This role involves collaborating with team members on various projects, from initial concept to implementation, while gaining hands-on experience in the design process. Interns will utilize software tools such as Sketchup and CAD to assist in creating master plans and design documentation, contributing to the firm's mission of improving communities through innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of the design process including concept generation, 3D visualization, design development, and construction documentation.
• Utilize illustrative graphics, Sketchup, CAD, and other relevant software programs in preparation of master plans and design documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to help with projects from the initial vision to implementation.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Excellent design and graphic skills.
• Experience with sketching, rendering, Sketchup, Adobe Suite, and CAD.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior construction documentation experience would be a plus.
