About the position
Kimley-Horn is seeking Landscape Architecture students to join their Lehi, Utah office. This position is designed for individuals currently pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture, either at the Bachelor's or Master's level. The role involves utilizing technical software to support various landscape architecture projects, contributing to site planning and design, and collaborating with project managers and other disciplines to achieve client goals.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
- Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
- Work on projects including land planning, urban design, mixed-use development, streetscapes, and parks.
- Solve complex problems and assist project managers in project execution.
- Collaborate across disciplines to produce visions for the built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company practices and standards.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Landscape Architecture Degree (Bachelors or Masters).
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.
