About The Position

The Landscape Architecture Intern position at Kimley-Horn is designed for students pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
  • Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production.
  • Engage in projects including land planning, urban design, mixed-use development, streetscapes, and parks.
  • Solve complex problems and assist project managers in delivering client visions.
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company practices and standards.
  • Learn software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator, GIS/Arcview, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel.
