About the position

The Landscape Construction Crew Leader is responsible for overseeing various landscape installation projects, managing a crew, ensuring quality work, and maintaining job site organization. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in the commercial landscape industry, with a focus on training and mentoring crew members while ensuring that projects meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Managing the crew by assigning tasks, providing training, and mentoring crew members.
• Overseeing the work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations.
• Ensuring the crew has the necessary tools and materials, and tracking materials and time.
• Maintaining a clean job site and organized equipment trailer.
• Operating standard landscaping construction equipment and company trucks/trailers safely.
• Keeping management updated on project status and providing feedback on employee performance.
• Completing necessary documentation.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in the commercial landscape industry.
• 3 years of professional landscape installation experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience and leadership skills.
• Possession of a chauffeur's license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and driver's background check.
