About the position

As a Landscape Designer with Urban Yardworks at Premier Pools & Spas, you will play a crucial role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful and functional environments. This position combines creative design skills with a customer-focused sales approach, allowing you to bring clients' visions to life while collaborating with the pool design team to create cohesive outdoor living spaces.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative landscape designs using CAD software that integrate seamlessly with pool designs.
• Collaborate with the pool design team to create cohesive outdoor living spaces.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Develop detailed planting plans and hardscape layouts.
• Research and specify appropriate plant materials for various climate conditions and design styles.
• Create 3D renderings and visual presentations and construction documents with technical specifications for landscape projects.
• Stay updated on the latest landscaping trends, sustainable practices, and local regulations.
• Conduct site analysis and inventory of existing vegetation and site conditions using provided data.
• Design irrigation systems and drainage solutions for landscape projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in landscape design or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong knowledge of plant materials, hardscaping, and sustainable landscaping practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record in sales or customer service (preferred but not required).
• Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (1 year preferred).
