About The Position

The Landscape Laborer position at Eaton Management LLC involves performing various landscaping and groundskeeping tasks at multiple worksites throughout the Memphis area. This temporary, full-time role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of properties, requiring physical labor and the use of hand and power tools. Workers will be engaged from March 15, 2025, through November 17, 2025, with a standard workweek of 40 hours, primarily from Monday to Thursday, with potential work on Fridays and Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

• No minimum education or experience required.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment criminal background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Landscape or maintain grounds using hand or power tools or equipment.
• Lay sod, mow, trim/edge, plant, weed, water, rake, and blow leaves.
• Dig holes approximately 24 inches deep and 36 inches wide for installing plants, trees, shrubs, or irrigation systems.
• Spread seed, fertilizer, and mulch.
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chainsaws.
• Core aerate and install/repair sprinklers.
• Install mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
• Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Transport work crew, plants, materials, and tools to/from worksites using a company vehicle.

Benefits

• Basic pay rate of $17.72 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and performance.
• Overtime pay at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek.
• Optional employee shared housing available at approximately $75 per person per week.
• Daily transportation provided from the main worksite to all worksite locations.
• Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence costs for workers completing 50% of the contract period.
• Daily meals provided during travel at a rate of at least $15.88 per day, up to $59 per day with receipts.
• All tools, supplies, and equipment provided at no charge.
