About the position

Join Simply Turf as a Turf / Lawn Care Technician, where you will play a vital role in transforming residential lawns into lush, green spaces. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, manage your own routes, and utilize state-of-the-art equipment while providing exceptional lawn care services to the community.

Responsibilities

• Expertly apply fertilizer and weed control using ride-on spreader/sprayer equipment.
• Independently complete daily routes, visiting around 15 to 20 residential lawns.
• Document progress, add notes, and capture pictures using the Service Autopilot app.
• Stay connected with the office through Slack for efficient coordination.
• Address client inquiries and offer expert advice on lawn concerns and solutions.
• Log material usage in the proprietary app to maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in horticulture/landscaping and turf/lawn care.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with clients professionally.
• Prior experience in the green industry, including landscaping, mowing, or turf/lawn care.
• A valid driver's license with reliable transportation to the shop in Gainesville, VA.
• Willingness to pass the registered technician exam within one month with training support.
• Availability to commit to a Monday-Friday schedule, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
• A High School Diploma or GED.
