About the position

We are seeking low voltage lighting installers for our expanding landscape lighting company in the Raleigh-Durham area. This role involves the installation of outdoor lighting systems in both residential and commercial settings. The position starts part-time with the potential to transition into full-time, offering a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Trenching, running, and burying low voltage wiring in landscape areas and lawns.
• Mounting lighting on hardscape and building facades, including ladder and roof work.
• Installing transformers and connecting wire runs.
• Installing permanent roofline lighting.
• Cleanup of all areas affected by the installation.
• Proper care and operation of company vehicles.
• Ensuring proper inventory levels.
• Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable.
• Interacting with clients.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation and be punctual.
• Attention to detail and respect for client's property.
• Above average technical ability.
• Proactive problem solver.
• Good first impression by being well groomed, articulate, and personable.

Nice-to-haves

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years).
• High school diploma or GED, Vocational Certificate.
