About the position
The Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisor at Sunshine Landscape is responsible for overseeing landscape maintenance operations, ensuring high-quality project completion, and leading a team of skilled landscapers in maintaining commercial outdoor spaces. This role requires strong supervisory skills and a passion for enhancing the natural environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities, ensuring quality and efficiency in all tasks.
- Lead a team in the execution of groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation maintenance and repair, and pruning of trees and shrubs.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for landscape care, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the maintenance process.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Manager with any needs and problems at the sites.
- Report any issue with equipment to ensure proper maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance with a focus on supervising teams.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and lawn care techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and team members.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools and machinery is essential.
- A passion for maintaining aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments is highly desirable.
- Bi-Lingual is Required.
