About the position

The Landscape Maintenance Manager will oversee landscape maintenance crews and assist with the installation of high-end residential projects in Maine and New Hampshire. This role requires a motivated team player who enjoys outdoor work and is responsible for managing job schedules, training new team members, and ensuring quality and efficiency in project completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage landscape maintenance crews and oversee project installations.
• Assist with the installation of large, high-end residential landscaping projects.
• Train new landscape team members on proper techniques and safety protocols.
• Manage job schedules, routes, and daily work logs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project success.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of trees, plants, and flowers.
• Fine gardening skills and understanding of proper planting techniques.
• Ability to read and execute landscape design plans.
• Experience in landscaping and mowing, with proficiency in using necessary tools.
• A clean driving record and comfort driving 1-ton trucks to work sites.
• Strong communication skills with clients and team members.
