About the position

The Landscape Maintenance Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape maintenance operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of horticulture to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of landscape maintenance professionals across various client sites.
  • Develop and implement detailed maintenance schedules for efficient workflow and crew assignments.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor service quality and crew safety.
  • Identify and address client concerns or landscape issues promptly.
  • Manage crew productivity and performance, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Oversee inventory management for necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Manage project budgets and track costs associated with labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Conduct or oversee routine equipment maintenance and ensure proper care for tools.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities for additional services.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including crew time sheets and service reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Participate in maintenance activities to ensure quality and fill in during scheduling gaps.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance with a proven track record of leading and managing crews.
  • In-depth understanding of horticultural principles and best practices for maintaining various landscape elements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in scheduling software and basic knowledge of landscape maintenance software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
