About the position
The Landscape Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for the planning, installation, and routine maintenance of landscape amenities across all park properties within the Mt. Prospect Park District. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the parks and recreational facilities, contributing to the overall enjoyment of the community's outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform planning and installation of landscape amenities.
- Conduct routine maintenance of landscape features across park properties.
- Assist in the management of grounds maintenance activities under the direction of the Grounds Department Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
