The Landscape Operations/Sales Manager at DCA Outdoor Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for leading a $5 million distribution site, driving sales growth, and streamlining operations. This position requires a visionary leader who can inspire a dedicated team, implement strategic operational plans, and enhance customer experiences while promoting sustainable products. The manager will oversee budgeting, cost management, and compliance, ensuring the site meets ambitious sales targets and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold accountable the site team to ensure successful execution of operational plans and goals.
• Drive revenue growth by establishing ambitious sales goals and implementing targeted sales strategies.
• Monitor performance, apply best practices, and address challenges to ensure the team meets sales targets.
• Oversee site profitability, product flow, team management, inventory control, and customer experience.
• Manage site budgets, forecasts, and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Report on site performance, including KPIs, financials, and compliance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field OR equivalent professional working experience in high volume sales and operations.
• 5 years of experience leading and managing a team to achieve sales initiatives and operational goals.
• Experience in budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of management experience in the green industry or related fields, landscaping, garden centers, and nurseries.
• Industry product knowledge, including both green goods and hard goods.
