About the position

The position involves leading and coaching team members in landscape maintenance to enhance efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires managing labor, equipment, and materials while maintaining compliance with contract specifications and budgets. The candidate will also be responsible for developing client relationships and generating sales through landscape enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach team members to improve efficiency on job site, safely.
  • Identify landscape issues and opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage all necessary computer and paperwork.
  • Organize tasks with the ability to adjust schedules and priorities.
  • Manage and schedule labor, equipment, and material for peak performance in the Landscape Maintenance division.
  • Understand contract specifications and ensure they are met, maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain sufficient staff to accomplish production schedules and forecast future staffing and material needs.
  • Visit job sites regularly to observe work organization, identify training issues, and ensure quality.
  • Respond to customer complaints to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain costs within assigned budgets.
  • Develop strong client relationships, up-sell, and generate sales through landscape enhancements.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver License
  • 3 years of Customer Service & Relationship Development (Preferred)
  • 3 years of Landscape Maintenance Experience with Emphasis on Exterior Services (Required)
  • 3 years of Production Management (Preferred)
  • 3 years of Project Management (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Four-year degree in Landscape Horticulture/Management and 2 years of continuous experience in landscape construction/installation OR 4 years of continuous service performing duties as described (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of or formal training in maintenance practices, personnel administration, horticulture, sales, and marketing.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory position.
