About the position

The Landscape Project Manager at Actalent is responsible for overseeing landscape design projects, managing construction documentation, and coordinating with clients, architects, and estimating staff. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and MS Office, along with the ability to produce high-quality graphics and models in Lumion. The ideal candidate will lead design projects, particularly in the resort and hotel industries, and ensure that deadlines are met while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and oversee drawings in AutoCAD
  • Sign and seal zoning and construction permits
  • Lead design projects, particularly in the resort and hotel industries
  • Manage and delegate tasks to junior landscape architect staff
  • Participate in design and construction meetings
  • Write and present proposals and estimates for clients
  • Ensure deadlines are met and verify the accuracy of work
  • Maintain strong communication and organizational skills
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Engage in client interactions and meetings

Requirements

  • Proficiency and self-sufficiency in AutoCAD
  • Architecture License to sign and seal drawings
  • Proven track record in design leadership
  • Experience in designing for resort industries or all-inclusive resorts
  • Experience with client interactions and meetings
  • Ability to delegate and distribute work to junior staff
  • Experience writing and presenting proposals and estimates
  • Experience with construction documentation
  • Ability to produce high-quality graphics and models in Lumion
  • 10 years of architectural experience
  • 5+ years of practice in landscape design
  • Knowledge of project estimating, contracts, and submittals
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
