About the position

The Landscape Sales and Design Associate at Drake's 7 Dees is responsible for creating and selling innovative outdoor designs that enhance residential spaces. This role combines design, sales, and project management, allowing the associate to transform client visions into reality while ensuring project success from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sell outdoor designs, including patios and plantings, with a personal touch for each client.
• Utilize VectorWorks or AutoCAD to create functional and beautiful design presentations.
• Lead projects from concept through to completion, collaborating with estimating teams, construction crews, and subcontractors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing design questions and making real-time adjustments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in residential landscape design, preferably in a design-build environment.
• Expertise in hardscape design, plant material, and Northwest horticulture.
• Proficiency in creating presentation drawings using VectorWorks or AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.
• Ability to collaborate with both in-office and on-site teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Sketchup (3 years preferred).
• Experience with AutoCAD (3 years preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
