About the position

The Landscape Sales/Operations Manager will lead a $5 million distribution site, focusing on driving sales growth and operational excellence. This role involves managing a dedicated team, developing innovative strategies, and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. The manager will be responsible for achieving ambitious sales goals, ensuring compliance with company policies, and enhancing customer experience while advocating for sustainable products.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold accountable the site team to ensure successful execution of operational plans and goals.
• Drive revenue growth by establishing ambitious sales goals and implementing targeted sales strategies.
• Monitor performance, apply best practices, and address challenges to ensure the team meets sales targets.
• Oversee site profitability, product flow, team management, inventory control, and customer experience.
• Manage site budgets, forecasts, and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Report on site performance, including KPIs, financials, and compliance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in high volume sales and operations.
• 5 years of experience leading and managing a team to achieve sales initiatives and operational goals.
• Experience in budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of management experience in the green industry or related fields, landscaping, garden centers, and nurseries.
• Industry product knowledge, including both green goods and hard goods.
