About the position

The Landscape Laborer position involves outdoor work focused on the maintenance and beautification of various landscapes. The role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about gardening and landscape maintenance, performing tasks that ensure clients' outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing and well-kept.

Responsibilities

• Digging and preparing soil for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Maintaining landscapes by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and weeding gardens.
• Operating power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers safely and efficiently.
• Building landscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Irrigating plants and ensuring proper watering schedules are followed.
• Providing tree care services including pruning and removal as needed.
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic gardening techniques and landscape design principles is a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• A team-oriented attitude with the ability to follow directions from supervisors.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in landscape maintenance (1 year preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Benefits

• Pay starting from $18.00 per hour.
• Part-time work schedule with expected hours of 3 - 15 per week.
