About the position
Lively Landscape Company is seeking a Landscape Foreman/Crew Leader for full-time, year-round employment. The role involves hands-on landscaping work, including the installation of trees, shrubs, sod, and drainage systems. The position requires physical endurance and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions, including inclement weather.
- Perform hands-on work with mulch, soil, drainage, tree, shrub, and sod installation.
- Load equipment and materials onto trucks and trailers.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of work vehicles and equipment.
- Interact politely and professionally with customers, vendors, and crew members.
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of previous professional landscape installation experience.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must have reliable transportation to arrive at the office on time.
- Ability to endure long periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting (frequent lifting of weights between 10-80 lbs.).
- Must be drug-free with a clean criminal background.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in landscaping is preferred.
