About the position
The Landscaping Crew Leader at BrightView Landscapes is responsible for leading a team of 2-5 members in various landscaping services, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing crew performance, and maintaining client satisfaction while fostering a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and delegate work to crew members.
- Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met.
- Identify more efficient ways to perform work.
- Surface client concerns to the Production Manager and assist in achieving resolutions.
- Provide feedback on crew members to the Production Manager.
- Assist in the development and training of crew members.
- Turn in accurate crew time logs.
- Ensure all crew members perform their work safely and in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and receives appropriate preventative maintenance.
- Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles.
Requirements
- Equivalent experience in a landscape-related field.
