Your leadership skills will be essential as you oversee various service lines, including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services such as irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications. In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your crew, delegating tasks effectively while maintaining a schedule that meets service expectations. You will also be tasked with identifying more efficient methods of performing work to enhance productivity. Client satisfaction is a key focus, and you will be expected to surface any client concerns to the Production Manager, assisting in achieving resolutions proactively. As a Crew Leader, you will provide valuable feedback on crew members to the Production Manager and assist in their development and training. Accurate crew time logs will be essential for tracking performance and ensuring accountability. Safety is paramount, and you will ensure that all crew members adhere to safety protocols and that equipment is well-maintained and in good working order. Logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles will also be part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations and delegating work to crew members
- Maintaining a schedule and ensuring service expectations are met
- Identifying more efficient ways to perform work
- Surfacing client concerns to the Production Manager and proactively assisting in achieving a resolution
- Providing the Production Manager with feedback on crew members
- Assisting the Production Manager in the development and training of crew members
- Turning in accurate crew time logs
- Ensuring all crew members perform their work safely and in accordance with company policies
- Ensuring equipment is in good working order and receives appropriate preventative maintenance
- Logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles
Requirements
- Equivalent experience in a landscape-related field
