About the position

The Landscaping Lead at Coast Property Management is responsible for overseeing landscape maintenance tasks and ensuring the aesthetic appeal and safety of properties. This role involves performing various landscaping duties, collaborating with team members, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools and equipment for effective landscape management.
• Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
• Dig and prepare planting areas for flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Maintain groundskeeping duties including weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Assist with apartment make-ready procedures.
• Make regular inspections of the grounds and buildings.
• Make repairs or replacements as necessary and with Supervisor approval.
• Available or on-call for after-hours emergencies when assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with power tools commonly used in landscaping tasks.
• Knowledge of gardening techniques, plant care, and hardscape installation.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
• Knowledge of 2 WIRE Water system is needed.
