This position is crucial for upholding productivity goals by enforcing processes, rules, and standards that promote accuracy and consistency in production schedules. The manager will lead teams and processes to meet production and quality goals, contributing to the company's bottom line.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure work is performed in adherence with safety policies and procedures, prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Plan and execute production schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with account management to address current and future challenges, identify opportunities, and ensure quality control results.
  • Problem-solve actively to deliver exceptional quality to customers consistently.
  • Develop daily work plans considering weather, personnel, and equipment contingencies, reviewing them with the team at the end of each workday.
  • Manage job hours to meet budget goals and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to review employee performance and strategies for improvement.
  • Understand and communicate lean processes to crew members effectively.
  • Onboard new crew members and conduct a 90-day follow-up to assess their performance.
  • Gain knowledge of client base, contracts, and serviced sites.
  • Identify challenges and opportunities for each customer to capitalize on them.
  • Perform frequent site and safety audits to ensure quality control compliance.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and daily equipment inspections for all equipment.
  • Utilize Aspire to generate daily work tickets, timekeeping, and other production-related tasks.
  • Maintain a professional image by enforcing uniform, truck, communication, and time management standards.
  • Act as a liaison between production crews and the shop, managing equipment issues effectively.
  • Maintain a 95% retention rate of desirable team members.
  • Support and enforce all company policies related to the team.
  • Ensure team members are trained in safe and proper equipment operation and held accountable for equipment care.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Involvement in voluntary certification programs.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Basic understanding of potential mechanical difficulties.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Effective communication skills.
