About the position
Valley Heights USD 498 has an opening for a Language Arts Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year. The current assignment is ninth and tenth grade English. In addition, the assignment includes working with the districts Integrated MTSS plan in the ELA Tier support groups. Coaching and Sponsorship's are available. Valley Heights helps with developing the classroom teacher by providing tuition paid incentives for advanced degrees.
Responsibilities
- Teach ninth and tenth grade English Language Arts.
- Implement the Integrated MTSS plan in ELA Tier support groups.
- Participate in coaching and sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop and enhance teaching skills through tuition incentives for advanced degrees.
Requirements
- Valid teaching certification in Language Arts for grades 7-12.
- Experience in teaching English at the high school level.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Integrated MTSS frameworks.
- Familiarity with technology in the classroom, such as SMART boards and iPads.
