About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced Swiss French writers to assist in training generative AI models. This freelance position allows for flexible working hours and is entirely remote, making it suitable for individuals looking to contribute their writing expertise while managing their own schedules.

Responsibilities

• Read Swiss French text to rank responses produced by an AI model.
• Write a short story in Swiss French on a given topic.
• Assess the factual accuracy of Swiss French text generated by an AI model.

Requirements

• Fluency in Swiss French.
• Experience as a professional translator or writer (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in AI model training or evaluation.
• Familiarity with generative AI technologies.
