About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced Swiss Italian writers to assist in training generative artificial intelligence models. This freelance position allows for flexible working hours and is entirely remote, enabling contributors to work at their convenience. The role involves evaluating AI-generated Swiss Italian text and providing feedback to enhance AI model performance.

Responsibilities

• Read Swiss Italian text to rank responses produced by an AI model.
• Write a short story in Swiss Italian on a given topic.
• Assess the factual accuracy of Swiss Italian text generated by an AI model.

Requirements

• Fluency in Swiss Italian.
• Experience as a professional translator or writer (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in AI model training or evaluation.
• Familiarity with generative AI technologies.
