About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced Swiss Italian writers to assist in training generative AI models. This freelance position allows for flexible hours and remote work, focusing on providing human feedback to improve AI outputs. Writers will engage in tasks such as ranking AI-generated responses, writing short stories in Swiss Italian, and assessing the factual accuracy of AI-produced texts.

Responsibilities

• Read Swiss Italian text to rank AI-generated responses.
• Write short stories in Swiss Italian on given topics.
• Assess the factual accuracy of Swiss Italian text produced by AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in Swiss Italian.
• Experience as a professional translator or writer (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
• Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
• Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in copywriting or technical writing.
• Familiarity with AI models and their training processes.
