About the position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance German language teacher to provide lessons for two young children in Pittsburgh. The role involves teaching beginner-level German in a flexible schedule, ideally on Sunday mornings, at the students' home. The position is part-time and offers a negotiable hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one German language lessons for children aged 5 and 3.
- Prepare lesson plans tailored to the students' beginner level.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the students' learning styles and needs.
- Communicate effectively with the students and their family regarding progress and scheduling.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the students' availability.
Requirements
- Be a native speaker of German or hold a teaching degree.
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Possess a valid working visa.
- Live within 30 miles of the client's location.
