About the position

The State of Michigan is seeking a highly skilled Programmer Analyst 6 with extensive experience in Java development. This role involves developing complex computer systems and requires a strong background in various programming languages and frameworks. The position is hybrid, requiring candidates to work onsite two days a week, and is expected to last for one year with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex computer systems using Java.
• Utilize Java IDEs such as Eclipse and STS for development.
• Program in SQL and/or PL/SQL for database management.
• Implement projects using Java JEE Struts and JEE Spring/SpringBoot Framework.
• Work on projects involving Angular/React JS and JavaScript frameworks.
• Leverage AWS, Databricks, and Elastic search in development projects.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience developing complex computer systems using Java.
• 12+ years of experience with Java IDEs such as Eclipse and STS.
• 12+ years of programming experience in SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• 8+ years of experience with Java JEE Struts and JEE Spring/SpringBoot Framework 3.0.
• 5+ years of experience with Angular/React JS and JavaScript frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS, Databricks, and Elastic search.
