About The Position

As a Complex Field Property Adjuster at Allstate, you will provide exceptional service to policyholders by conducting on-site inspections, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims efficiently. This role requires traveling to customers' homes and handling virtual claims nationwide, with a focus on water losses. You will embody Allstate's Claims Culture by being compassionate and clear, while also acting as an investigator, effective communicator, negotiator, problem solver, and recorder of claims documentation.

Requirements

• 3 years of previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired.
• Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $25,000 in losses.
• Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims effectively.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as part of the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections and investigate coverage.
• Prepare estimates and settle claims promptly and efficiently.
• Handle virtual claims using various platforms and software such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.
• Investigate property claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video chat to guide them through the claims process.
• Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers.
• Utilize multiple tools to expedite claims settlements in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of claims in the claims system.
