About the position

The Large Scale Staff Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) Lead at Northrop Grumman is responsible for overseeing the program lifecycle, ensuring technical compliance, and managing integration across multi-functional teams. This role involves collaboration with various engineering disciplines to develop high-performance computing systems that meet unique mission needs, while also managing risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the program lifecycle, including major program milestones and reviews.
  • Collaborate across multi-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
  • Manage vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle.
  • Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
  • Manage risk and opportunity and track core engineering work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule.
  • Coordinate between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).
  • 10+ years of experience in superconducting materials integration and test.
  • Experience facilitating internal and customer collaboration to capture and enhance engineering artifacts.
  • Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, focusing on SRR to CDR.
  • Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test.
  • Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification.
  • Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML).
  • Risk and Opportunity Management experience.
  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen with a US DOD TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Experience working with CAMEO or other similar MBSE management tools.
  • Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF).
  • Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally.
  • Experience managing contracts of $10M+.
  • Demonstrated Experience working with CAMEO.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management.
