Laser Technician / Electrologist

About the position

The Laser Technician / Electrologist at RELIVE Health is responsible for performing a variety of high-level aesthetic practices and procedures, including laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, and Radio Frequency MicroNeedling. This role emphasizes patient care, requiring the technician to create personalized treatment plans, educate clients on services, and adhere to established protocols and regulations. The position is part-time and offers a flexible schedule, focusing on delivering exceptional aesthetic services while maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administers esthetic treatments in accordance with RELIVE policies and procedures
• Evaluates the client's suitability for all available services/treatments and performs treatments that same day
• Provides relevant and concise information regarding desired treatments and their risks
• Provides Pre and Post-care instructions
• Educates patients on aesthetic services such as laser skin rejuvenation and injectable services
• Completes detailed paperwork and consent forms
• Monitors and records patients' concerns and documents provided services
• Resolves and reports on patients' concerns and issues
• Adheres to all policies, along with all State and Federal regulations
• Completes charts in detail; makes personalized notes and records information
• Conducts and maintains professional standards
• Applies knowledge of sterile techniques, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA requirements
• Maintains up-to-date licensing and training certifications in aesthetic procedures and practices
• Cross-educates patients on aesthetic services such as laser skin rejuvenation, at-home products, and injectable services
• Completes both ZO Core and Advanced Series learning tracks to become ZO Certified within 60 days of employment
• Comfortable following company guidelines for weekly social media postings, including pictures, videos, patient education, specials, packages, memberships, and so on, to promote services and procedures
• Performs follow-up calls to patients after procedures and skin care purchases.

Requirements

• Relevant industry experience required (2+ years preferred)
• Must hold current Electrologist (laser) license
• Proficient with personal computers and contemporary software applications (MS Office Suite, Salesforce, etc.)
• Exceptional teamwork & communication skills
• Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times, abides by dress code standards
• Provide a portfolio, including social media portfolio.
