This role is for the Latin Jazz Band at Amigos School, specifically for the Strings Teacher. The Latin Jazz Band is an after-school VPA formal program where students are exposed to a variety of jazz styles, learning improvisation skills and performing as a large ensemble for concerts and events. The goal of the jazz band is to learn improvisation, develop rehearsal and practice skills, develop technique and facility on instruments, listen and analyze different styles of jazz with an emphasis on Latin Jazz, and perform in different big band and combo charts.
