About The Position
Lytle Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all laundry services within the facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and personal clothing items are washed, dried, folded, and distributed in a timely manner. The Laundry Aide will work closely with other staff members to ensure that the laundry needs of residents are met efficiently and effectively. All shifts are open, providing flexibility for the right candidate. As a Laundry Aide, you will be expected to adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols while handling laundry. This includes operating washing machines and dryers, sorting and treating stains, and ensuring that all items are cleaned according to the facility's standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining the laundry area in a clean and organized manner, reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to your supervisor. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality service to our residents and their families. The Laundry Aide plays a vital role in the overall comfort and well-being of our residents by ensuring that they have clean and fresh linens and clothing.
