About the position

The Laundry Aide at American Senior Communities is responsible for folding, sorting, processing, and transporting laundry and linens throughout the facility. This role is essential in ensuring that sufficient supplies are available to meet resident needs, enhancing their comfort and quality of life. The position adheres to facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fold, sort, process, and transport laundry and linens throughout the facility.
• Ensure sufficient laundry supplies are available to meet resident needs.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures regarding laundry services.
• Comply with state and federal laws and regulations related to laundry services.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry laundry items as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is a plus.
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning supplies.
