About the position

The Law and STAY FLY Programs Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the effective operation of the Law Program and STAY FLY Program in Santa Clara County. This position involves managing youth referrals, coordinating events, facilitating educational curriculum, and supporting volunteer recruitment and administration. The coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the programs run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the mission of Fresh Lifelines for Youth to empower youth and disrupt the pipeline to prison.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake of youth referrals for the Law-Related Education (LRE) & STAY FLY Program.
• Coordinate logistics for program training, workshops, field trips, and events.
• Provide ongoing support for volunteer facilitators regarding supplies and event execution.
• Facilitate LRE Curriculum at various program sites.
• Maintain and update necessary information in FLY's ETO database, Google Drive, and Dropbox folders.
• Assist in preparing presentations for volunteer recruitment and participate in interviews.
• Process all volunteer clearances within 72 hours of interviews.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in program coordination or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership abilities to manage volunteers and coordinate events.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in youth programs or community service organizations.
• Familiarity with data management systems.
