About the position

Cruz & Associates, a law firm in Atlanta specializing in Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury, is seeking a qualified Personal Injury Paralegal/Legal Assistant. The role requires a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and possess experience in handling Personal Injury cases or active litigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and case files.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other resources.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases.
• Organize and maintain case files and documentation.
• Prepare for trials and hearings by gathering evidence and materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Personal Injury cases or active litigation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Paralegal Certificate (not required but preferred)
• Experience with legal software and case management systems.
