About the position

As a Layout Designer, you will provide essential CAD drafting support for composite designs and revisions. Your role will involve holding review calls, capturing minutes, and drafting work necessary for module creation. You will be responsible for understanding requirements from the SIM ticket, providing feedback to Change Management if SIM tickets lack information, and creating or modifying module drawings based on redline feedback. Additionally, you will attend team meetings, manage the expectations of Project Manager stakeholders, and oversee the project management of designs throughout a 14-month lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include obtaining and documenting all specifics regarding projects from site selection and transaction management. You will research and compile all available information for sites, coordinate all engineering and architectural specifications for each building type, and manage the initial architectural design and permit submittals. Furthermore, you will develop and provide supporting documents for lease execution, create initial construction schedules and sequences, manage due diligence and utility coordination efforts, and ensure complete and accurate documentation for construction handoff. This role requires a blend of technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, particularly in large commercial projects where managing multiple projects simultaneously is crucial.
