Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the department's patient evaluation and assessment services.
• Coordinate all central intake functions including inquiry calls, emergency room assessments, and medical unit consults.
• Manage and supervise clinical staff within the Behavioral and Mental Healthcare department.
• Provide crisis intervention and discharge planning support.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Connecticut Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience in group work, central intake, and discharge planning.
• Familiarity with DSM-IV.
