About the position

The Digital Content Coordinator & Graphic Designer at the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture is responsible for managing digital content across various campus displays, creating engaging graphic designs, and supporting marketing initiatives. This role involves collaboration with multiple departments to ensure that all digital content aligns with the university's branding and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage digital content for displays in the Agricultural and Natural Resources Building (ANRB), Morgan Hall, and other UTIA buildings.
  • Design and update slides ensuring compliance with display guidelines.
  • Oversee the formatting and scheduling of content for digital displays.
  • Monitor content performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Coordinate with UT System and UT Knoxville for emergency management messaging.
  • Provide graphic design support for marketing materials, digital marketing campaigns, and web-based projects.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, fine arts, or a related field and three years of professional experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems (CMS), and design principles.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices for digital content.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, fine arts, or a related field and two years of professional experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Experience with display signage software and WordPress.
  • Ability to code HTML emails and e-newsletters.
