About the position

The LDB Supply Chain Data & Analytics, Sr Manager position at L'Oreal Dermatological Beauty is a pivotal role focused on transforming data into actionable insights to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of the supply chain. This position is integral to the LDB Division, which generates $2.3 billion in revenue for L'Oreal USA, and it also supports the Global S&OP team for American DMI Brands. The Sr Manager will lead a team dedicated to developing and implementing data-driven solutions that improve supply chain visibility, forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, and overall operational efficiency. In this role, the Sr Manager will spearhead the development of comprehensive data and analytics tools for the US Dermatological Beauty Operations team. Key responsibilities include leading data integration and governance efforts, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of supply chain data, and collaborating with IT and global data teams to optimize data infrastructure. The position also involves developing analytics models to optimize inventory levels, enhancing demand forecasting accuracy, and identifying opportunities for process improvement through data analysis. The Sr Manager will be responsible for transforming complex data into compelling visualizations and reports that communicate supply chain performance effectively. This includes managing monthly and weekly reporting activities and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization. Additionally, the role requires leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of data analysts and scientists, contributing to team management activities such as goal setting and training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment, integration, and standardization of data from diverse sources across the supply chain ecosystem.
  • Champion data governance and data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of supply chain data.
  • Collaborate with IT and global data teams to optimize data infrastructure and ensure data accessibility.
  • Develop and implement analytics models to optimize inventory levels across the supply chain.
  • Enhance demand forecasting accuracy by supporting the team on their needs to organize and leverage data-driven analytics & tools.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize supply chain processes through data analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders in the Supply Chain field to implement data-driven improvements.
  • Transform complex data into compelling visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate supply chain performance.
  • Manage and ensure that the monthly and weekly reporting activities are properly executed.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by communicating insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to leverage data and technology to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire data analysts and scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in data analytics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain operations, inventory management principles, and S&OP processes.
  • Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
