About the position
Abacus Early Learning Center is seeking a caring and dependable Lead Teacher for our two-year-old classroom. The role involves providing high-quality childcare, following state regulations, and implementing curriculum while fostering a nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for tracking developmental milestones and maintaining communication with parents, ensuring a safe and engaging learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow all state regulations and Abacus policies
- Care for and meet the needs of all children in your care
- Always follow Safe Sleep practices
- Follow curriculum and provide weekly lesson plans
- Track and record daily activities
- Track and record developmental milestones
- Communicate directly with parents
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Meet all State Requirements
