About the position
The Lead A/V Technician is responsible for overseeing the programming, installation, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems. This hands-on role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. The technician will engage in direct client interactions, ensuring high-quality service and support while managing on-site projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee programming and installation of A/V systems including Lutron, Control 4, Elan, Vantage, and Josh.ai.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and configuration of A/V devices and networks.
- Build and lace equipment racks for installations.
- Provide internal support for other technicians as needed.
- Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in A/V programming and installation.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Fluency in programming systems such as Lutron, Control 4, Elan, Vantage, and Josh.ai.
- Ability to troubleshoot and configure A/V devices and networks.
- Steady work history with minimal job changes.
