About the position

The Lead Account Manager is responsible for recruiting new partners, promoting the benefits of the channel program, and building strategic relationships with new and prospective partners. This role involves developing alliance partners to successfully promote and sell their wireline/wireless solutions, engaging in sales activities, and providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues related to sales.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit Key Strategic Partners to drive growth through new Channel
  • Develop and determine opportunity size of key partnerships
  • Identify and support dealers by analyzing work to resolve challenges that may hinder the success of channel partners
  • Collaborate and attend partner briefing meetings, creating and delivering training materials
  • Coordinate activities to meet sales objectives and provide status and custom reports as required
  • Determine when to bring internal support resources to the partner/dealer that will support them in the selling process
  • Develop highly complex structured business planning, partner funnel and forecasting, product and system training, operational support
  • Engage in sales activities at customer sites and communicate with customers via various channels
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing and strategic plans related to the customer
  • Research and develop customer solutions with AT&T external partners, including design and engineering
  • Research customer business and industry to identify new sales opportunities

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree
  • Requires 8 to 12 years of direct work experience
  • Prior Indirect Channel Experience
  • Wireline Sales Expert
  • Mobility Sales Expert
  • Funnel Management & sales results delivery through managed relationships/Solution Providers
