About the position

The Account Sales Manager Lead is responsible for driving sales growth and execution for Keurig Dr Pepper brands in the Greater Colorado Springs and Pueblo area. This role involves up-selling, fulfillment, and replenishment while also supporting the development of other Account Managers. The position requires a focus on maximizing brand presence and distribution in retail stores, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and conducting training sessions for team members.

Responsibilities

  • Sell in KDP brands to maximize growth, share growth, distribution, and to obtain specific volume objectives.
  • Monitor ads and assist Account Managers in the follow-up of execution of these ads in the market.
  • Monitor POI activation in bulk stores related to ads or activity, and closing of voids week to week.
  • Develop and maintain a complete schedule of all approved vacation, floating holiday, and any other paid time off for the Account Managers.
  • Conduct a monthly STS with each Account Manager in your assigned group to assist in their development.
  • Conduct periodic training sessions for all Account Managers covering safety, sales, merchandising, and communication skills.
  • Assist the District Manager in the day-to-day operation of the district utilizing various management tools.
  • Fill in for District Manager and Merchandising Manager as needed.
  • Learn all aspects of Merchandising Manager duties for the bulk area, including labor reports and scheduling.
  • Understand all KBI's related to this job duty.
  • Participate in ongoing leadership and management training.
  • Cross train in other departments to gain a better understanding of all functions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
  • Familiarity with management tools such as Margin Miner, Route Manager, MyDay, AmPlify, and EEA app.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in training and mentoring team members.
  • Knowledge of merchandising and retail operations.
  • Familiarity with labor reporting and scheduling systems.
