About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead AI (Artificial Intelligence) Engineer to join the Risk Technology Team within Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT). This role focuses on defining design patterns that support model development, training, and production use, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to develop standards and best practices for engineering complex technology solutions, particularly in areas like Virtualization, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex technology initiatives with broad companywide impact.
  • Develop standards and best practices for engineering large-scale technology solutions.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs.
  • Analyze complex technology solutions for business objectives and technical challenges.
  • Make decisions on engineering and technology solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and external groups to resolve complex issues.
  • Lead projects and teams, serving as a peer mentor.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of Python Full Stack Engineering with Cloud Experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in building Microservices Applications.
  • 1+ years of Gen AI (Generative Artificial Intelligence) experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in running large scale compute on GPUs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Cloud Native Application.
  • GCP (Google Cloud Professional) Certificate.
  • Experience on OpenShift.
  • Experienced in Spark and Big Data Technologies.
  • Reporting tool experience (Dremio, PowerBI).
