About the position

The Lead AI Engineer will be responsible for designing and architecting generative AI models and solutions that align with project goals and client requirements. This role involves leveraging advanced AI frameworks to develop applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. The position emphasizes innovation, technical guidance, and the integration of AI-driven solutions into existing analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of generative AI models and solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
• Leverage generative AI frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch) to develop robust AI applications that can be integrated into existing analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create and fine-tune generative AI models, focusing on enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in generative AI and open-source technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to incorporate new techniques into projects.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and present AI-driven solutions that enhance their analytics capabilities.
• Foster a collaborative environment by working with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and data scientists, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
• Establish and enforce best practices in coding, model evaluation, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience working in the Manufacturing industry with digital platforms and analytics tools.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong focus on generative AI technologies, prompt engineering, vector databases, and GenAI operationalizing.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure stack, generative AI libraries, frameworks, and OpenAI models.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with other programming languages commonly used in AI development.
• Strong skills in data manipulation and analysis, with experience in tools such as SQL, Pandas, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
