About the position

The Lead AI Engineer will spearhead the development of a scalable Artificial Intelligence platform, enabling business teams to effectively utilize AI-driven solutions. This role emphasizes collaboration with leadership and product teams to align AI initiatives with business needs, ensuring the platform is user-friendly and integrated with existing infrastructure. The position also focuses on driving AI innovation, monitoring performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI strategy by partnering with leadership and product teams to prioritize AI initiatives.
• Act as the subject-matter expert on AI tools, providing guidance on selection and implementation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders for successful integration of AI/ML technologies.
• Ensure the AI platform is user-friendly, modular, and efficient for various teams.
• Design the AI platform with scalability, security, and robustness in mind.
• Partner with DevOps and IT teams for integration with company infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead efforts to create actionable data sets from raw data.
• Influence the business intelligence team to optimize data pipelines for scalability and accuracy.
• Stay updated with AI and ML advancements to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in AI-driven products/services.
• Track platform performance and model accuracy, using metrics for continuous improvement.
• Implement feedback loops to refine AI models and ensure they meet business expectations.
• Build a data quality framework to ensure model accuracy over time.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in leading AI initiatives with a proven track record of successful AI-driven solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and modern data engineering tools.
• Proven experience in architecting and deploying scalable AI tools and managing infrastructure for AI solutions.
• Ability to bridge the gap between AI capabilities and business goals.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex AI concepts to stakeholders.

• Experience in eCommerce and/or B2C/B2B product-based businesses.
